In Anuppur district of MP, 24 year old girl Kajal became friends with a boy on Facebook and fell in love. But she could not know the secret of this killer. The accused killed her by fabricating a story of love.
There was a sensation in Anuppur district of Madhya Pradesh on March 15 when the dead body of a woman was found in a deserted, dilapidated house. The corpse was in a very bad condition and was decomposed, with many of its organs damaged. When a very strong smell started coming from the closed room, people nearby gathered there and informed the police.
The police found the matter fishy and immediately formed a special team to investigate. The police identified the deceased on the basis of some personal belongings found at the spot and a missing person’s report. The girl’s name was Kajal Puri, who was 24 years old and was a resident of Lapta village. She was missing since February 17.
Kajal had left the house saying she was going to college.
According to the police, Kajal had left the house that day saying that she was going to college, but never returned. When the police investigated his last conversation, the needle of suspicion turned towards Chandrabhan Rathore alias Ravi alias ‘Thakur Saheb’. The police soon took him into custody and started interrogating him.
The killer narrated the Facebook love story
During interrogation, the accused confessed to his crime. He told that a few months ago he had become friends with Kajal on Facebook, which later turned into love. When Kajal started pressurizing him for marriage, he refused citing social constraints and made a plan to get her out of the way.
The accused murdered the girl in a filmy manner
- Police revealed that on February 17, the accused took Kajal on his motorcycle to that deserted house in Gowri village. There he attacked Kajal with a stone and killed her. To destroy the evidence, he broke Kajal’s SIM card and hid her mobile phone.
- Police have recovered the motorcycle used in this crime and the girl’s phone. The police arrested the accused within 48 hours and further investigation into the case is underway.
