Gwalior Love Marriage Tragic End: A heartbreaking crime has come to light from Gwalior district of Madhya Pradesh. In Harsi village of Belgadha police station area, Omprakash Batham, a young man who was married against the wishes of his in -laws, was brutally attacked by his wife Shivani Jha’s family and his supporters. The horrors of the incident are also revealed that the youth could not save his life despite treatment for about six days in the hospital.
The background and love marriage of the event
Omprakash Batham married Shivani Jha about a year ago. After marriage, the couple was living in Dabra away from their families. On August 19, when both returned to their ancestral village, the journey proved to be fatal for them.

Father and other family members attacked
According to the complaint, Shivani Jha’s father, brother and other relatives along with neighbors attacked Omprakash with sticks. The young man was seriously injured and the family rushed him to Jayarogya Hospital in Gwalior. However, despite treatment for several days, Omprakash died.
Police action and case registered
After the death of the young man, the police have registered a case of murder and intensified the investigation. Initially, on the complaint of Shivani Jha, a case of assault was registered against four people. The accused include Dwarka Prasad Jha, Raju Jha, Uma Ojha and Sandeep Sharma. Belgadha police station in -charge Ajay Singh confirmed that the young man was attacked with sticks.
Wife’s demand and justice attempt
The deceased’s wife Shivani Jha has demanded strict action against the accused. The police has intensified the investigation for the arrest of the accused. This case not only questions love marriage and family intervention, but also exposes increasing violence and domestic disputes in the society.
