Motorola is quietly building up hype for an upcoming smartphone launch in India. A new microsite has gone live on Flipkart, revealing a handful of visual and hardware details, even as the official name of the device remains under wraps.
Based on the teaser images and promotional cues, it looks like Motorola is preparing a mid-to-premium range device with a focus on design, camera quality, and water resistance.
Four Color Options, All With a Premium Look
From what the microsite reveals, the device will launch in four color variants: a forest green, dark navy blue, a lighter sky blue, and a pinkish-purple tone. The finishes appear to lean toward Motorola’s classic vegan leather, but that’s speculative until real-world hands-on images emerge.
The rear panel houses a dual-camera system, and the side of the camera module includes the marking “50MP LYTIA OIS,” confirming that the primary sensor is a Sony LYTIA lens with optical image stabilization. That puts the emphasis on camera performance, especially in low light and video stabilization.
A Curved Display With Centered Punch-Hole
On the front, the phone features a curved-edge display on both sides with a center-aligned hole-punch camera. While Motorola hasn’t confirmed the display resolution or refresh rate, the curvature suggests a possible OLED panel.
Also notable is the visual theme used in the teaserthe phone is shown submerged in the ocean, hinting at IP68 or even IP69 water and dust resistance.
Snapdragon Inside, But Which One?
Motorola has confirmed that the phone will run on a Snapdragon processor, though the specific model remains unknown. Whether it’s a top-tier Snapdragon 8-series chip or something from the more balanced 7-series lineup will likely be revealed closer to launch.
That said, pairing a Sony LYTIA sensor and a curved OLED display with a mid-range Snapdragon chip would place this phone in the same zone as Motorola’s Edge series or higher-end G-series offerings.
Stay Tuned
,it’s safe to assume an official announcement is imminent. Flipkart has often been Motorola’s preferred online partner in India, so the launch will most likely happen exclusively through the platform.
