The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion recently went on sale in India, following its launch earlier this month. However, a new smartphone in the Edge series was also unveiled under the radar.

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion+ is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, paired with an Adreno 810 GPU, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage, delivering strong performance for multitasking, gaming, and AI-powered tasks.

The smartphone features a 6.8-inch Super HD AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution (1,272×2,772 pixels) and a 144Hz refresh rate, offering smooth scrolling and animations. The panel also supports HDR10+, improving contrast and colour accuracy for streaming and gaming content.
The device packs a 5,200mAh battery with 68W TurboPower fast charging, enabling quick top-ups and extended daily usage. On the software side, the phone runs Android 16 with Motorola’s Hello UI out of the box, offering a near-stock Android experience along with Motorola’s custom features and optimisations.

For photography, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion+ comes with a triple rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 710 primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, optical image stabilisation (OIS), and Ultra Pixel technology.

The system also includes a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera with a 122-degree field of view and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and up to 10x digital zoom. On the front, the device houses a 50-megapixel selfie camera capable of recording 4K video for high-resolution video calls and content creation.
Motorola Edge 70 Fusion+ Design and Connectivity
For design and durability, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion+ features a glass fibre reinforced polymer (GFRP) back panel, IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, and security features such as an in-display fingerprint sensor and facial recognition.
In terms of connectivity, the handset supports 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, GPS, and USB Type-C, along with dual-SIM functionality with Nano-SIM and eSIM support. The device measures 162.76 × 75.60 × 7.21mm and weighs around 177g, giving it a slim and lightweight profile.

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion+ is priced at BRL 2,969 (roughly Rs. 52,900) in Brazil. The company currently offers the smartphone in a single configuration with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. To recall, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion price in India starts from Rs 26,999.
The handset is available in Pantone Orient Blue and Pantone Blue Surf colour options. It has already gone on sale in Brazil and can be purchased through the company’s official website in the country.
