Another day, another Motorola leakand this time, we’re looking at the Motorola Edge 60, which just surfaced in official-looking renders.
If it feels familiar, that’s because it is. This one’s shaping up to be a repackaged version of the Edge 60 Fusion, which Motorola has already launched in India.
Now, instead of a completely new device, it looks like Motorola is going for a “same soul, different passport” kind of release. The company appears to be lining up a global rollout of the Fusionjust under the more neutral “Edge 60” branding.
Same Design Playbook, Different Color Pages
The renders show the Edge 60 in two shades: a deep ocean blue and a leafy green. Both look understated and modern, with a faux leather back that’s clearly meant to elevate the tactile feel without pushing into luxury territory.
It’s safe to say Motorola is sticking with a design language that’s been working for them. Rounded corners, centered camera modules, and minimalist brandingit’s not breaking new ground, but it doesn’t have to. This is a phone that’s meant to feel reliable at first glance, not experimental.
Rumored Specs
The Edge 60 isn’t gunning for the flagship throne, but it’s not trying to be a budget compromise either. It’ll reportedly run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400 chipset, which, while not flashy, is pretty capable for what most users actually do: multitask, stream, scroll, shoot photos, and occasionally game.
RAM options stretch to 12GB, and storage goes up to 512GB, which is nice.
Cameras
On the camera front, leaks point to a 50MP Sony Lytia LYT-700C sensor as the main act, backed by a 13MP ultrawide. That’s a pretty standard pairing these daysno telephoto here, but that’s par for the course in this segment. Motorola’s cameras haven’t always wowed, but they’ve gotten more consistent in the last couple of years.

Battery and Charging
A 5,500mAh battery is expected under the hood, which is pretty solid for a phone with this footprint. It’s paired with 65W wired charging, which should comfortably get you from near-dead to usable in under 30 minutes. Not class-leading, but certainly fast enough to eliminate most battery anxiety.
Throw in IP68 and IP69 ratings, and it becomes clear that Motorola’s aiming for a phone that can take a few knocks, drops, and maybe even a rainstorm.
Software
The Edge 60 will reportedly ship with Android 15 pre-installed. Motorola is also said to be offering three years of Android OS updates and four years of security patches.
A Global Rebranding?
Everything about the Edge 60 points to one thing: this is likely the international version of the Indian Edge 60 Fusion. Manufacturers often tweak specs or rebrand devices for different markets, and Motorola seems to be following that tradition here. The design, hardware, and feature set all line up closely with the Fusion, suggesting a strategic rollout plan rather than a brand-new device.
