The mother of a teenage girl from a village in the Kotwali area has told in her complaint that her daughter was studying sitting on the terrace in November 2024. Meanwhile, three accused who came from the other terrace forcefully pulled her, took her to the side and raped her one by one. Then, on the complaint, the police registered a case of molestation under POCSO and sent the accused to jail. After some time, the accused were released on bail and came home. After this, again in February 2025, his daughter was forcefully dragged by four youths when she went to throw garbage. Gang raped her. Even threatened to kill.
The victim told her mother about the incident. The mother came to know that the daughter was pregnant. She appealed to the Women’s Commission member for justice. Late on Friday night, Mughalsarai Kotwali police registered a case under various sections against rape accused Rahi Patel, Dinesh Patel, Vikas Vishwakarma and an unknown person.
