A massive fire that broke out in a private bus going from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur destroyed the happiness of many homes. Mahendra Meghwal, who was going home to celebrate Diwali with his wife and children, lost the battle of life along with his entire family in this accident.
The happy journey became the last journey, the old mother’s eyes got stoned
Mahendra was busy preparing for Diwali with his wife Parvati and three children – Khushboo, Deeksha and Shaurya. At home his mother was preparing to welcome her grandchildren. But that ill-fated bus ended everything. 20 people including Mahendra’s entire family died in the accident. Instead of festive lights, there is now darkness of mourning in every house.
The wait for Mahendra’s old mother sitting in Dechu village will never end. His son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren will never return home. After the accident, there was such a horrific scene in the bus that even identification of the dead became difficult. Police are now preparing to identify the dead bodies by taking DNA samples. The tears of the family members have now dried, and there is silence in the entire village.

Mahendra was posted in Army Depot
Mahendra Meghwal was posted in the Army Depot of Jaisalmer. 35-year-old Mahendra was returning home with his family during Diwali vacation. But a careless accident took away his life. Mahendra’s wife’s brother Parvati also reached the mortuary, where everyone’s eyes were moist. Police are now trying to bring Mahendra’s mother to Jodhpur so that the DNA test can be completed.

While people were immersed in the joy of returning home during the festive season, this painful incident has shaken everyone to the core. The local administration has ordered an investigation and announced financial assistance to the families of the deceased.
