A very heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Etah in Uttar Pradesh, where a woman got HIV and everyone left her. But her eight-year-old son supported his mother till her death and when the mother died, the son took his mother’s body to the hospital for post-mortem.
The child’s father had died a year ago.
This incident took place in Nagla Dheeraj of Etah, where 45-year-old Neelam, a resident, was suffering from HIV, after which the family members broke relations with her. The woman was undergoing treatment at Veerangana Avanti Bai Medical College, Etah. But his condition started deteriorating in the past few days, after which he died.
Child reached for postmortem of mother’s dead body
This woman’s husband had died due to HIV a year ago and only her eight-year-old son was with her. Who supported him even during the treatment and even when he died no one came to him. After which the son took the body alone to the district headquarters for post-mortem. During this time, he sat near his mother’s dead body and kept crying bitterly.
Family and relatives also left us
The child told that his father also died a year ago and now his mother has also died. He is left alone in this world. Family members and relatives have turned their backs on him. No relative or family member came even to lend a shoulder to the dead woman.
The child also alleged that no family member has come forward to help him. Everyone is after his property and he faces threat to his life from his family.
Cremation of woman with the help of police
Seeing the seriousness of the matter, Jaithara police station in-charge Ritesh Thakur intervened. He told that the woman died due to illness and the father had also died earlier due to illness. The station in-charge has taken the responsibility of the last rites of the deceased woman and has assured all possible help to the child. The last rites of the woman have been performed with the help of police station in-charge Jaithara Ritesh Thakur.
