A heart-wrenching case has come to light in Chaubepur, Kanpur, where the mother of her lover, who had evil eyes on her 13-year-old daughter, murdered her. The whole truth was revealed when the skeleton was found in the forest after 50 days.
Kanpur. A horrifying example of how far Mamata’s love can go has come from Chaubepur area of Kanpur. Here a mother killed her own lover. The reason was neither betrayal nor any quarrel, but the dirty intentions of that person, who had set their sights on the mother’s 13 year old innocent daughter. As this story came to light, everyone’s heart trembled.
Four years of relationship, cruelty under the guise of trust
Gorelal came into the life of Shweta (name changed), resident of Rautapur village, after the death of her husband. Both were living together for four years. Gorelal had free access to the house and the children also started feeling that he would fill the void of their father. But under this guise of trust, sinister intentions were growing in Gorelal’s mind.
Shweta alleges that Gorelal had his eyes on her 13 year old daughter. He started pressurizing Shweta to establish relations with his daughter. The matter did not stop here, he threatened that if his words were not obeyed, he would kill his only son. This threat proved to be the last limit for Shweta.

On the night of 31 October, when the end was made
The night of 31 October became the last night for Gorelal. Shweta conspires with her nephew Jesus to remove him from the way. She took Gorelal to her maternal home on the pretext of marriage. There he was made to drink heavily. As soon as he became unconscious under the influence of alcohol, both of them strangled him.
After the murder Jesus called one of his friends. Together, all three dragged Gorelal’s body to the forest about 300 meters away, dug a deep pit and buried the body. After this it was treated as if nothing had happened.
After 50 days the skeleton revealed its layers
On November 2, Gorelal’s family had registered his missing complaint. The police continued the investigation, but could not find any clue of the murder. During the investigation, the police came to know about the relationship between Gorelal and Shweta. When the police interrogated Shweta, her unusual calmness irked the officers. When strictness was imposed, a 50 day old secret came to light. When Gorelal’s skeleton was recovered from the forest, panic spread in the village.

After her arrest, Shweta clearly told the police that she could tolerate every atrocities that happened to her, but the glances towards her daughter were not acceptable to her. The police have arrested Shweta and her nephew Jesus. The search is on for the third accused who helped in disposing of the body.
Police say that all aspects of the entire case are being investigated in depth. This case is not just a murder, but a story of fear and pain, where a mother had to take a bloody decision to save her own world.
