More than 100 people died in Bihar, mourning spread after Chhath festival

How many people died in which district in Bihar?

The maximum number of deaths due to drowning in water during Chhath puja has occurred in the capital Patna. Where about 11 people died due to drowning in water. In Nalanda, 8 people and in Vaishali, 7 people drowned in the river. Apart from this, 5 people died in Aurangabad, 4 Gayaji, 1 Naubatpur, 2 Bihta, 3 Mokama, 2 Maner and three due to drowning in the flood. According to media reports, about 22 people drowned in Chhath Ghats in North Bihar. Whereas 4 lives were lost in Darbhanga-Motihari, 5 in Madhubani and 5 in Sitamarhi during Chhath puja. Lives have also been lost in Muzaffarpur and Bhagalpur. Apart from this, people have also drowned in Khagaria, Madhepura, Banka, Purnia.

106 people died during Chhath Puja in Bihar

According to the figures being circulated in the media, 106 people have died due to drowning in water during Chhath in all the districts of Bihar. So many lives have been lost in Bihar alone. The data of remaining states has not come yet. It is also being said that this death toll may increase further. Because more than a dozen people are still reported missing. The great festival of Chhath is over, but mourning has spread in the homes of those who died due to drowning in water.
