Should moong dal sprouts be eaten daily or not?
Senior dietitian Geetika Chopra says that moong sprouts can be given 10 out of 10. But if someone has uric acid problem then he should avoid eating this high protein food. Such people should consume protein only on the advice of an expert or doctor. However, Geetika Chopra said that it is not right to focus only on moong dal for protein intake. You can also take protein through gram flour, cheese, tofu, soybean. Apart from this, for those who are non-vegetarian, eggs and chicken are the best sources.
However, experts advise that people who are normal i.e. those who do not have any medical problem can eat moong dal sprouts daily. But if someone develops acidity or gas then they should boil the sprouts and eat them. According to experts, it is best to eat 100 grams of sprouts daily but it should be eaten by mixing other things in it. Actually, absorption of protein becomes better through Vitamin C. Therefore, sprouts should be eaten with lemon and cucumber.
When should sprouts be eaten?

Experts say that it is best to eat sprouted moong in the morning. According to him, the body’s metabolism accelerates at this time. Because of this, the proteins and other elements present in it are properly absorbed in the body. It is important to be physically active to digest pulses. Therefore, being active after eating in the morning helps in digesting pulses.
Dietitian Geetika Chopra says that those who have uric acid problem should eat pulses or other protein foods only on the advice of experts. Due to increased intake of protein, pain in bones or joints increases further. Well, it is best to eat vegetables by mixing them.
