In Goa, a man drove his SUV straight into the sea, after which the vehicle got stuck in the sand and had to be pulled out with the help of a crane. This incident is another example of irresponsible behavior of tourists. The video of this entire incident is being shared widely on social media, in which Toyota Fortuner is seen stuck on the beach and people are criticizing the driver fiercely.

According to The Goan report, the driver drove the Gujarat-registered vehicle to Vagator Beach in Goa. Within some time the car got stuck in the sand. As the waves grew stronger, water started filling inside the car. A heavy machine had to be called to pull the Fortuner out of the sea. In pictures shared online, a JCB crane is seen carrying out the rescue. It is also seen in the video that when the doors of the SUV were opened, a stream of water gushed out from inside.

After this video went viral, social media users have expressed their displeasure. One user wrote, “Why have these people not been punished yet?” Another person commented, “This is a Fortuner, not a boat. Police registered a case

Police said that the car was driven carelessly and dangerously on the beach and into the sea. The driver endangered human life by driving on the beach, where doing so is clearly prohibited. Anjuna police have registered a case under sections 281 and 125 of the Indian Judicial Code as well as relevant provisions of the Central Motor Vehicle Rules and the Motor Vehicle Act.
