Comrade Kalyan has collected around 16.5 Crore gross in India by the end of the second weekend. The movie has to collect 12 Crore for breakeven as per the advance sent by SVC and so, it is a profit venture for the buyers. But then, the Producer has deficit already and so, he will still take a hit even after the Overflows.
Drishyam 3 has collected 540 Crore Gross Worldwide after its third weekend.
Garividi Lakshmi was reportedly made in a budget of around 6 Crore. Except for the music rights to T-Series, the movie was released completely on risk by the Producer. The movie has collected around 1.7 Crore Gross in its first weekend. Uttarandhra is the best-performing area. Vizag is the best performing city. The Expenses around would have costed about 50 Lakhs. It is also likely that the collection would be adjusted towards Rajasaab dues. But with the goodwill the producer is getting, we will have to see if he gets a good OTT price.
Crazy Kalyanam Producer made 7 Crore from the OTT Deal (aha) and 70 Lakhs from Music. Suresh Productions facilitated the OTT deal and also released the movie. But then, the movie has just collected around 85 Lakhs Gross while its Expenses are likely to eat up whatever share it has collected. So, a theatrical disappointment. But the Producer will be in Safe Zone or minor loss due to the non-theatrical business.
Ranabaali did a business of 59 Crore including GST across the World and the Breakeven is around 108 Crore Gross. In the first weekend, the movie has collected around 36 Crore Gross which means around 33.3% Recovery so far.
Rajinikanth’s Jailer has collected around 425 Crore Gross WW while the Breakeven is around 600 Crore WW. In Telugu States, the movie did a business of 48.8 Crore including GST and should collect 88 Crore Gross for Breakeven. The movie has collected 45 Crore Gross in the first weekend in both the Telugu States which means 51% Recovery already. Hyderabad is the third best-performing city after Bengaluru and Chennai. It has to be seen how many areas will have commission and how much!
