Made In Heaven Season 2 Turns Two: Mona Singh is best known from her breakthrough as the lovable Jassi in Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin to the bold and unapologetic Bulbul Jauhari in Made In Heaven Season 2. Today marks two years since the release of the second season of Zoya Akhtar’s hit web series. Mona Singh celebrated it as she shared a set of rare behind-the-scenes (BTS) moments on Instagram. Created by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, Made In Heaven is set in the glamorous yet complicated world of high-end wedding planning in Delhi. It blends personal drama with social commentary, tackling issues such as class, gender, sexuality, and relationships. 

Mona Singh took to Instagram to share the bts photos and captioned it, “Serendipity on screen hmm ‘Made In Heaven’ #bulbuljohri #aug2025 #happyme #instamood.” The post, filled with warmth and nostalgia, quickly caught the attention of fans. However, some followers misunderstood the post, believing it to be an announcement for a brand-new season. The photos included candid snaps of her time on set, alongside fellow cast members such as Sobhita Dhulipala. The web series also stars Jim Sarbh, Arjun Mathur, Shashank Arora and others alongside Mona Singh and Sobhita Dhulipala. 

Meanwhile, he comments section was flooded with excited messages such as, “Woohooo… Bulbul is back!” and “Noooo, thought it’s actually coming.” Another fan shared, “The adrenaline rush that the new season is out today, though it was a throwback, had me like whoa!” One more added, “Woohooooooo meri Bulbul aa rahi hai.” Others wished her luck, saying, “All the best for the new season!!!” and posted “can’t wait” messages, showing the huge love the character continues to receive.

Mona Singh’s Role In Made In Heaven

Mona joined Made In Heaven in its second season but her portrayal of Bulbul Jauhari which is a strong yet empathetic, resilient yet compassionate struck a deep chord with viewers. In earlier interviews, Mona described Bulbul as a survivor who has endured a troubled marriage, domestic abuse, and personal trauma. Despite these hardships, Bulbul chooses to remain positive. She confronts misogyny head-on and uses her strength to support other women. “She’s not bitter about life. She’s a survivor… she chose to rise to the occasion, combat misogyny, and help other women. That speaks volumes about her character,” Mona reportedly said.
