Mokshada Ekadashi 2025: Ekadashi fast is considered very important. There are two Ekadashis in every month. First in Krishna and second in Shakal Paksha. The day of Ekadashi is an auspicious occasion to get the blessings of Lord Vishnu, the creator of the world. On this day, Lord Vishnu is worshiped and fasted as per the rituals. Mokshada Ekadashi falls in the Shukla Paksha of Margashirsha month. By worshiping Lord Vishnu and fasting on this day, all the sorrows of life go away.

Keep these things related to Tusli in mind on Mokshada Ekadashi

  • It is believed that on the day of Ekadashi, Mother Tulsi observes Nirjala fast for Lord Vishnu. In such a situation, do not offer water to the Mother Goddess on this day even by mistake. Also do not remove the Tulsi container. By doing this the fast of Tulsi Mata gets broken.
  • Cleanliness should be maintained around Tulsi on Ekadashi or any other day. Do not keep things like shoes, slippers, broom and dustbin near Tulsi. Otherwise Goddess Lakshmi may get angry. This may cause money related problems.
  • It is prohibited to touch Tulsi on the day of Ekadashi, but on this day, light a ghee lamp near Tulsi in the evening. Make sure to circumambulate seven or eleven times and chant the mantras of Tulsi Mata.
  • During Ekadashi puja, definitely offer Tulsi Dal as an offering to Lord Vishnu. Keeping these things in mind on the day of Ekadashi brings blessings of Lord Vishnu.
