‘PMShri Heli Tourism Service’ started in Madhya Pradesh on the initiative of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. Bhopal, Indore and Jabalpur will provide fast, affordable heli connectivity to religious, natural and wildlife sites, which will give a new impetus to tourism and employment.
Bhopal. With the unique initiative of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Madhya Pradesh has started a new and glorious chapter in air tourism. With the aim of increasing the number of tourists by increasing air connectivity, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board has started ‘PMShri Heli Tourism Service’ from November 20. The beginning of this service amidst musical instruments, enthusiasm and warmth of the public brought a festive atmosphere in the entire state. Now this service will operate regularly and provide more momentum and new direction to tourism.
First flight: important moment in tourism history
On the first day, helicopters flew from Bhopal to Madhai, Madhai to Pachmarhi, Indore to Ujjain and Omkareshwar, Jabalpur to Kanha and Bandhavgarh as per the scheduled schedule in three sectors. These yatras were enjoyed by public representatives, saints and common travelers. Minister of Tourism, Culture and Religious Trusts (Independent Charge) Shri Dharmendra Bhav Singh Lodhi said that this service will provide fast, simple and economical air route for spiritual, natural and wildlife tourism. This will save time and also increase employment and investment opportunities. Additional Chief Secretary and Managing Director of MP Tourism Board, Shri Shiv Shekhar Shukla said that this service is an innovative effort to connect religious, natural, cultural and wildlife places. With affordable fares and short travel time, this facility will attract domestic and foreign tourists.
Bhopal to Madhai-Pachmarhi: A quick journey towards nature
In the first trip from Bhopal to Madhai, MP Shri Darshan Singh Choudhary, Rajya Sabha MP Smt. Maya Singh Narolia, Smt. Preeti Shukla, Yogendra Rajput, Sandesh Purohit traveled. Pipariya MLA Thakur Das Nagvanshi and Sohagpur MLA Vijay Pal Singh also participated in the journey from Madhai to Pachmarhi.
Spiritual Circuit from Indore: Air Trip to Ujjain and Omkareshwar
The service started in a devotional atmosphere in Indore. The first flight left from Indore to Mahakaleshwar Jyotirling in Ujjain and then from Ujjain to Omkareshwar. Water Resources Minister Shri Tulsiram Silavat flagged off the first team leaving from Bicholi Mardana Helipad. He said that this service is a new chapter of religious tourism.
Pilgrims benefit from both time and convenience
Saints, saints and devotees appreciated this initiative of the Chief Minister. He says that this will benefit the large number of pilgrims coming in both time and convenience. Travelers also described it as a big and modern change in religious tourism. The first team included MLA Ramesh Mendola, Mahendra Hardiya, Sumit Mishra, Shravan Chavda, media personnel and devotees. On reaching Ujjain, the travelers were welcomed with traditional flower showers. Mahant Anand Puri, Mahant Mangal Das, Mahant Rameshwar Giri and Mahant Dr. Rameshwar Das participated in the 10-minute joy-ride in Ujjain.
Jabalpur to Kanha-Bandhavgarh: Amazing view of forest wealth
Mr. Anil Tiwari and Mr. Omnarayan Dubey of Jabalpur enjoyed the beautiful natural beauty of Kanha and Bandhavgarh. Service will start from Jabalpur to Amarkantak from 21st November. Apart from this, heli service will also be available from Jabalpur to Maihar and Chitrakoot.
