Madhya Pradesh government held a big meeting on Simhastha event and decided to make it divine and world class. Respecting the sentiments of the farmers, the land pooling scheme was cancelled. Farmer unions and BJP officials welcomed the decision.
Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the upcoming Simhastha Kumbh will be an event which the whole world will watch. The government will make every possible effort to make it divine, grand and world class. He made it clear that the interests of farmers and saints will be taken full care of.
Land pooling scheme canceled in respect of farmers
Respecting the sentiments of the farmers, the Chief Minister decided to cancel the land pooling scheme of Simhastha area. For this, instructions were given to the Urban Administration Department and the District Administration to issue orders immediately.
CM’s detailed meeting with farmers union, BJP officials and administration
Representatives of Farmers Union, officials of Bharatiya Janata Party, public representatives and district administration were present in this meeting held in Ujjain. All points related to the Simhastha event were discussed and a collective consensus was reached that preparations for the event would be done at a high level.

BJP President Hemant Khandelwal, MLA Anil Jain Kaluhera, Mahesh Chaudhary from Farmers Union, Kamal Singh Anjana, Atul Maheshwari, Lakshmi Narayan Patel, Bharat Bais and Ramesh Dangi were present in the meeting. City President Sanjay Aggarwal, District General Secretary Kamlesh Bairwa, General Secretary Jagdish Panchal and Anand Khagi were also present from the BJP organization.
Farmers union welcomes Chief Minister’s decision
The Farmers Union welcomed the decision to cancel the land pooling scheme and expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister. Farmers called it a big step to respect their sentiments.
