Al Aqsa Mosque Missile Attack: There was panic in Jerusalem on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr when an Iranian missile fell just a few hundred meters away from the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque. After the blast, missile debris scattered on the mosque premises and surrounding roads. Its video has also surfaced.
Al Aqsa Mosque Missile Attack Video: On Saturday, when the whole world was celebrating Eid, Iran launched a missile attack on Israel’s holy city Jerusalem, which fell just a few hundred meters away from Al-Aqsa Mosque. The Israeli Foreign Ministry and Army (IDF) have shared a video, in which it can be seen that debris and shrapnel from Iran’s ballistic missile are raining over the holy Old City. This missile fell so close to the Al-Aqsa compound that a deep crater was formed there. Thankfully, there was no major damage to the Dome of the Rock or the main part of the mosque, but there was a pile of debris on the surrounding roads.

Mosque gate locked for the first time in 60 years
This was the first time in the history of Jerusalem since 1967 that the doors of Al-Aqsa Mosque were closed to worshipers during the last 10 days of Ramadan and the day of Eid. Al-Aqsa, Holy Sepulcher Church and the Western Wall, all three holy sites, have been sealed due to security reasons after Israel and America started military operations against Iran.
Namaz on the streets and a scene full of pain
Due to the closure of the mosque, thousands of worshipers gathered outside the closed gates of the Old City. They were forced to offer Eid prayers on the roads and outside the gates. “Al-Aqsa was taken away from us today,” Wajdi Mohammed Shawiki, an elderly Palestinian worshiper, said emotionally. This is a sad and painful Ramadan. This situation is no less than a disaster for the residents of Jerusalem and Muslims around the world.
Not only the mosque, the missile also fell on the church.
In the pictures released by the Israeli police, it can be seen that a large part of the missile has also fallen on the roof of the ‘Church of the Holy Sepulchre’. This is the same place which is considered the holy place of burial of Jesus Christ in Christianity. Israel says that this attack by Iran was carried out without thinking, whose only purpose was to spread destruction, be it civilian areas or the most sacred places in the world.
