1. ‘Jigra’ (December 6)

will be released on Netflix in December 2024. The depicts a one-of-a-kind sibling connection in which Satya (Alia Bhatt goes to great lengths to free her brother, Ankur, played by Raina, from a foreign prison.

2. ‘Amaran’ (December 5)

Amaran is a biopic based on the life of Major Mukund Varadarajan, a commissioned officer in the Indian Army’s Rajput Regiment. He was posthumously awarded the Ashok Chakra for his valour during a counterterrorism mission while on deputation to the 44th Rashtriya Rifles battalion in Jammu and Kashmir.
3. ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ (December)

Set in 1997, features Triptii Dimri and Rajkummar Rao, a newly-married couple who fall in a strange and embarrassing situation. A private VHS tape, containing Vicky and Vidya’s intimate moments, results in pandemonium and chaos in a small town.
4. ‘One Hundred Years of Solitude’ (December 11)

This series is based on the eponymous novel penned by Colombian novelist Gabriel García Márquez. The renowned author is best known for his mastery of magical realism. It is set in a timeless, fictional town of Macondo. It revolves around the Buendía family and its seven generations who , oblivion and their inescapable past and fate.
5. ‘Black Doves’ (December 5)

The upcoming British features Keira Knightley in the lead. Helen is operating as an undercover spy posing as a politician’s wife. She starts a with a man who gets caught in the crossfire and falls victim to London’s dangerous underworld. Helen’s employers call in Sam to protect her.
6. ‘The Six Triple Eight’ (December 20)

The war drama movie stars Kerry Washington, Ebony Obsidian, Dean Norris, Sam Waterston, Oprah Winfrey and Susan Sarandon. This movie is based on the 2019 WWII History magazine article, “Fighting a Two-Front War”, by Kevin M. Hymel on the contributions of the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion, an all-black, , in World War II.
7. ‘Mismatched’ season 3 (December 13)

Starring Prajakta Koli and Rohit Saraf in the lead, this coming-of-age romantic drama will release its third season in mid-December. The Netflix series is based on Sandhya Menon’s 2017 novel When Dimple Met Rishi. The series follows Dimple and Rishi’s romantic tale and how their love blossoms after they meet at an educational institution in Jaipur.
8. ‘Disaster Holiday’ (December 5)

9. ‘Avicii – I’m Tim’ (December 31)

Directed by director Henrik Burman, about the life of Swedish DJ Avicii. The documentary contains interviews from Chris Martin, Nile Rodgers and David Guetta among others. The story is about Tim Bergling, a shy and insecure boy, who, without realizing it, created one of the most loved artists of the world-Avicii.
10. ‘Squid Game’ season 2 (December 26)

The second installment of the insanely popular dystopian survival thriller will finally release in December. The show is based on a bunch of cash-strapped contestants who get an invitation to participate in a children’s show. The cash prize can solve all their financial woes but the stakes are deadly.
