Minnesota School Shooting: 3 people killed, 17 injured at Annnusiation Catholic School in Miniapolis. The attacker opened fire with school windows with three weapons and later killed himself. The injured children continue to be treated.
Firing took place on Wednesday at the Annnusiation Catholic School in Minianpolis, the state of Minnesota, USA. This caused three people to die and 17 were injured. The dead are two children and one attacker. After the firing, Gunman took his life behind the church. Two children aged 8 and 10 are killed in the incident. “Two of the injured children are in critical condition. 9 others are undergoing treatment at the local trauma center,” Reuters quoted Minoriapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara.

According to information received from police officials, the attacker brought rifle, shortgun and pistol. He used all three weapons in firing. He fired from the windows of the school church.
Catholic school attacked two days after starting
The incident occurred two days after the commencement of Annuction Catholic School, a private primary school with 395 students. The local police described it as “deliberate violence against innocent children”. The school was evacuated after the firing. Students and their families were sent to the school premises to the “reunion area”, so that they stay out of danger.
Earlier, officials of Pediatrics Trauma Hospital, Children’s Minnesota, Miniapolis, said that at least five children have been admitted for treatment. According to a report by the Associated Press, Henpin Healthcare, the largest emergency department of Minnesota, has also said to take care of the patients injured in the firing.
Governor Tim Walj said- I am praying for children and teachers
Governor Tim Walz posted on X, “I have been informed about the firing at the Anuction Catholic School. As we get more information, I will keep updating. The BCA and State Petrol Teams are present on the spot. I am praying for children and teachers whose first week of school whose school was affected by this horrific violence.”
Reacting to the firing, US President Donald Trump said that the FBI is present at the scene. He said that the White House is monitoring the situation.
