New Delhi: The new MINI John Cooper Works (JCW) Countryman ALL4 is now just weeks away from hitting Indian roads. MINI India has announced that pre-launch bookings for the performance-oriented SUV will begin on September 22, 2025, from 12 pm on its official website. The actual launch has been set for October 14, 2025.
The latest version of the Countryman marks a significant step for MINI in India, as the SUV has grown larger and more powerful than its predecessor. With added interior space, stronger performance numbers, and the practicality of an SUV body style, the model is positioned to appeal to a wider base of buyers in the premium compact SUV segment.

New model offers bigger dimensions, flexible seating, and 1,460 litres of luggage space
Bigger, faster, and more practical
Under the hood, the JCW Countryman ALL4 packs a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine producing 300 bhp and 400 Nm of torque. The car can hit a top speed of 250 kmph, which makes it among the quickest in its segment. With the ALL4 all-wheel drive system, MINI is promising traction across varied terrains, something Indian buyers will likely appreciate on highways and hill roads.
The new Countryman is larger than its predecessor, measuring 13 cm longer and 8 cm taller. This translates into more room inside, a point that families looking at performance SUVs won’t miss. The rear seats slide by 13 cm and can be folded, allowing luggage capacity to expand from 450 litres to 1,460 litres. A panoramic glass roof is part of the package, adding light and space to the cabin.
Where to book and dealership details
Bookings can be done online at mini.in starting September 22. MINI also has 11 authorised dealerships across India for those who prefer a traditional showroom experience. These include Bird Automotive in Delhi and Gurugram, Bavaria Motors in Pune, Infinity Cars in Mumbai, EVM Autokraft in Kochi, Gallops Autohaus in Ahmedabad, Krishna Automobiles in Chandigarh, KUN Exclusive in Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad, and OSL Prestige in Kolkata.

MINI JCW Countryman ALL4 SUV gets October India launch date
Launch date and what to expect
The official launch on October 14 will mark the arrival of one of MINI’s most anticipated models this year. For car enthusiasts, the JCW badge is enough to signal serious performance, but this time the SUV body makes it a more practical option. It is likely to sit in the same aspirational bracket as cars like the BMW X1 or Audi Q3 Sportback, though with MINI’s distinctive personality.
