New Delhi: Mini India have launched the Countryman Electric along with the John Cooper Works Pack for Rs 62 lakh (ex-showroom price). The new pack receives a sportier exterior treatment, while the interior is sourced from the standard Mini EV. Mini will be importing just 20 units of the all-electric Countryman JCW, and bookings for them can be made with a token amount of Rs 1.5 lakh, with deliveries beginning on June 10, 2025.
At the pricing it is coming, the Mini Countryman EV JCW Pack is a direct competition to the Mercedes EQA priced at Rs 67.20 lakh and the Kia EV6 SUV, which comes for Rs 66 lakh. There are lower-priced Favoured and Classic trims with the Countryman Electric in India.
Mini Countryman JCW exterior and interior
The JCW pack is offered with two exterior paint options, Midnight Black and Legend Grey, with the latter being offered with black sports stripes. The Countryman Electric JCW is also distinguished because of its checkered design on the closed-off nose extending to the bumper, which takes inspiration from Mini’s racing pedigree. The JCW treatment even goes for the side skirts, door sills, and the rear spoilers, with the alloy wheels blacked out.
JCW badges, along with checkered flags, are also pasted on the C-pillar and next to the charging port on the front.
The interior comes with a JCW-specific sterling wheel with boost mode, sports seats, black upholstery and red accents for the dashboard. It comes with a 9.4-inch circular OLED touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivityHarman Kardon sound system, wireless charger, electrically adjustable front seats, panoramic sunroof and ambient lighting, all of which are carried from a standard Countryman EV. In safety features, it has the front and side curtain airbags, ABS, TPMS, rear-view camera and Level 2 ADAS suite.
Mini Countryman JCW powertrain
The JCW Pack doesn’t alter the Countryman Electric’s powertrain of 204 bhp, 250Nm motor or the 66.45kWh battery pack. It is a front-wheel driving system, with the Countryman going from 0-100kph in 8.6 seconds with a top speed of 170 kph. In the WLTP cycle, the Countryman can go 462 km on a single charge. It can go from 10-80 per cent charge in 29 minutes with a 130kw DC fast charger and takes 6.4 hours for the battery to go from 0-100 per cent with an 11kW AC charger.
