Former ADOR CEO Min Hee-Jin has once again found herself at the centre of the ongoing dispute involving NewJeans and ADOR after a new report surfaced with fresh allegations. Published on July 4 KST, the report claimed Min was involved in aspects of the group’s independent activities and legal planning during the prolonged conflict with the agency. It also references materials presented during a recent court hearing connected to ADOR’s damages lawsuit. Neither Min Hee-Jin nor NewJeans’ representatives have publicly responded to the latest claims, which have not been independently verified, at the time of writing.

Min Hee-Jin was aware of NewJeans’ independent activities?

According to the report published by Dispatch, the allegations are based on conversations involving Min Hee-Jin and her associates, along with materials disclosed during the third hearing of ADOR’s damages lawsuit held on July 2. The outlet claimed that Min allegedly participated in planning several of NewJeans’ independent activities, including the group’s appearance at ComplexCon Hong Kong and profile photo shoots. It further alleged that she stressed the importance of maintaining strict confidentiality throughout the preparations and that the expenses for those activities were covered using funds raised by the members’ parents.

The report also alleged that Min explored potential contact and contractual arrangements with a company backed by Chinese capital and claimed she attempted to facilitate a dual-contract arrangement. The dispatch further claimed that the livestream conducted by members last September was part of a broader legal strategy devised in preparation for future legal battles.

Additionally, the outlet claimed  remained publicly dismissive of tampering allegations despite allegedly being aware of them and was involved in shaping the legal arguments presented during court proceedings. The outlet also reported that discussions with ADOR had shifted away from reconciliation and toward building grounds to terminate the contractual relationship.
