Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing an interactive session of Investment Opportunities at PM-Mitra Park in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh at Hotel ITC Maurya, New Delhi on Wednesday. Union Textile Minister Giriraj Singh was also present in the interactive session. The session included the country’s textile sector business tycoons, commercial houses and investors. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also discussed various industrialists associated with the textile industry on the immense possibilities of investment in PM-Mitra Park to be established near Badnavar in Dhar district. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that PM-Mitra Park will prove to be important for employment and economic development of states.

15 companies showed interest in Dhar PM-Mitra Park, proposals for investment

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav informed that industrialists involved in the interactive session in Delhi today have shown interest in investing in textile sector in Madhya Pradesh. With this, investment proposals of Rs 12,508 crore have been received from 15 big companies. More than 18 thousand employment is expected to be created in them. In investing companies, Tridents, Rs 4500 crore, A.B. Cottage Industry has given Rs 1300 crore, Arvind Mills Rs 1024 crore, Sanatan Textiles Rs 1000 crore, BSL members won Rs 1000 crore, Best Corporation Tirupur got Rs 832 crore, Sharmaji Yarn Pvt. Ltd. Rs 800 crore, RSVM (LNJ Bhilwara) Rs 700 crore, R.K. R. Jain Industries has Rs 550 crore, Faban Textile Pvt. Ltd. 308 crores, Dynasty Technofab Pvt. Ltd. 237 crores, Mohini Active Life Pvt. Ltd. Rs 141 crore, Anika Texfab received Rs 100 crore, Vedanta Cotton Pvt. Ltd and NTP Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Proposal of Rs 8-8 crore.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that on the special initiative of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the country’s first PM-Mitra Park is being set up in Dhar district, which will be landed soon. He said that the Government of Madhya Pradesh has adopted Prime Minister Shri Modi’s 5F vision ‘Farm to Fiber, Fiber to Factory, Fashion to Foreign’ as a mission by the Government of Madhya Pradesh. Our aim is to make the quality of indigenous fabrics to the global markets by making them world class. For this, special attention is being paid to the entire value chain. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Prime Minister Shri Modi is working continuously to give impetus to farmers, markets and traditions at every level. Under his guidance, the textile sector is getting a new vision and new direction.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that India was a leader in the world in terms of textile industry, spice trade and gold jewelery since ancient times. In the absence of technology, at some time, an unruly effort was made to influence our ability through business. The central government is with all industrialists in difficult times. Getting exemption in import duty under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi is a type of help to restore industries, the government stands with them.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is ranked 7th in the country in cotton production. The PM-Mitra Park of the textile sector is being built between Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh running in the first place, for which all other facilities are available from the availability of raw materials in Madhya Pradesh. He said that Madhya Pradesh is the land funded by the justice of Emperor Vikramaditya. There has always been a better law and order establishment here.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is located in the center of the country and provides many compatibility for investors. He told the investors that wherever you want to set up industries in Madhya Pradesh, all other types of facilities including land, electricity, water, approach road, Near-to-door connectivity, cheap labor rates, skilled labor force are available. He said that Madhya Pradesh is probably the first state in the country where there is never an industrial strike. He told the investors that the government is standing with you every watch in the development of your business. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that only one name is echoing in the whole country regarding investment, that is Madhya Pradesh. PM-Samitra Park will give a new edge to India’s textile sector in global competition: Union Minister of Textiles Mr. Singh

Union Textile Minister Giriraj Singh said that the energetic Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Yadav, is working with the vision and resolution of Prime Minister Shri Modi. Under his leadership, the PM-Samitra Park of Dhar is not only an industrial project, but a solution to the decades-old demand of the textile industry. The park will give India a new identity in the global textile market and will become the largest integrated textile hub in the country. He said that Prime Minister Shri Modi’s thinking has been that India should not be limited to the production center only, but to play a leading role in the textile sector on the basis of sustainability, innovation and quality, this park is a result of the same thinking. The park will have a complete value chain available from cotton production to prepared textile exports, which will reduce the cost of industries and increase competitive capacity manifold.

Union Minister Shri Singh said that India has a global textile market opportunity in front of India and the central government is taking all possible steps to achieve it. He particularly mentioned the Bharattex event, which was attended by more than 170 countries and where there was a thorough discussion on recycled fiber, new age fiber, sustainability and quality. He said that this is a big opportunity for India to show its potential globally and PM-Samitra Park will play an important role in it.

Union Minister Shri Singh clarified that the Government of India has taken concrete steps such as concession in import duty on cotton, advanced authorization, promoting MSME sector and policy reforms based on the suggestions of the industry. He said that the Government of India is working continuously and actively to encourage exports, open new markets and give industries an increase in competition globally. He called upon the industry to increase the export aggressively and assured that the central government is standing with industries all the time. PM-Samitra Park will give new energy to India’s textile sector in global competition and will make Madhya Pradesh a precursor to this campaign.

A heritage like Maheshwari-Chajeeri is being linked to the modern industrial structure: Union Secretary Mrs. Rao

Neelam Shami Rao said that Madhya Pradesh has set an example in the country by providing greenfield land for industrial development. The PM-Samitra Park of Dhar is being developed on 2,158 acres of land and it will be the largest and most cost-affecting textile park in the country. The biggest feature of this park is that the entire value chain of ‘farm-to-fashion’ will be provided here. All processes ranging from cotton production to clothing and prepared apparel will be in one place. He said that the state has decided to connect its traditional strength to the modern structure. Madhya Pradesh has written a new chapter by connecting heritage like Maheshwari and Chanderi to the modern industrial structure and global market. A detailed plan of about Rs 2,000 crore has been prepared for this park and its environmental approval has already been ensured, so that investors will have to be free from additional formalities.

Mrs. Rao informed that the park will have state-of-the-art facilities like Zero liquid discharge CETP, SCADA based utilities, command-and-control center, testing and training centers, industrial housing and plug-and-play infrastructure. He said that it would give all industries an opportunity to work with the highest standards and make them competitive globally. He expressed confidence that the park would be fully active in the next 14–16 months. This will not only give relief to industries, but will also give permanent benefits to the farmers and weavers of Madhya Pradesh by adding them directly.

Union Additional Secretary of Textiles Rohit Kansal said that Madhya Pradesh is the first state in the country to start taking investors’ applications for PM-Mitra Park. He informed that the state’s PM-Mitra Park has its USP in scale, size and comparison, global standard and state and central government support, incentive and all pre-upuval on overall experiences with parole. He said that PM-Mitra Parks with global bench marking would prove to be smart and sustainable.

Investment, export and employment will get new heights from PM-Samitra Park: Principal Secretary Mr. Singh

Principal Secretary Industrial Policy and Investment Incentive Raghavendra Singh said that this park will prove to be a game changer not only for Madhya Pradesh but also for the textile sector of the entire country. He said that Madhya Pradesh produces 24 percent non-GMO organic cotton in the world and is known for Extra long staple cotton. In the year 2024–25, textile exports of more than Rs 9,200 crore have been exported from the state. He said that provisions such as capital grants, subsidy on interest and export promotion have been made under the State New Industrial Policy-2025, which will give a strong basis to investors. The state has more than 31 GW power capacity, with 30% renewable energy and availability of industrial water over 1,000 McM. Institutions like NIFT Bhopal, NID Bhopal and Global Skills Park will continue to provide trained human resources to the park. Mr. Singh said that about two lakh jobs will be created from this project and more than Rs 10,000 crore will be attracted. This park will give new heights to Madhya Pradesh in investment, export and employment – three areas and ensure the state’s leading position on the global textile map.

One-to-one discussion with industrialists

In the interactive session, one-to-one discussion was held with industrialists in textile and garment sector. Principal Secretary Industrial Policy and Investment Incentive Mr. Singh apprised of PM Mitra Park Dhar, State policies, investment incentives. In one-to-one discussion, specially in Triandant Group Chairman Rajinder Gupta, Joint Managing Director of Vardhman Group Neeraj Jain, Joint Managing Director of Sanatan Textile Limited Ajay Dattani, Sharmanji Urns Pvt. Ltd. Managing Director Ashu Jain, LNJ Bhilwara Group Joint Managing Director Rajiv Gupta, Jain Cord Industries Managing Director Anil Jain, members of the Federation of Indian Export Organizations, members of the Apparel Export Promotion Council and BSL members actively conducted activities on the possibilities of affected groups and the possibilities of investment and support.
