MIG-21 Farewell: Indian Air Force MiG-21 retired today. On this special occasion, the Air Force Squadron Leader Priya Sharma was also included in the pilots who flew the MiG-21 for the last time.
MIG-21 Farewell: MiG-21 fighter jet retired on 26 September after serving the Indian Air Force for 6 decades. This jet was given a grand farewell at Chandigarh Airbase. Women’s pilot squadron leader Priya Sharma also attended this farewell ceremony. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Air Force Chief Air Marshal AP Singh also attended the ceremony. Air Marshal AP Singh took the last flight of Squadron named Badal 3.
Priya is the seventh female fighter pilot of the country
Priya Sharma is one of the pilots who participated in the formal fly past of MiG-21. He also flew in full dress rehearsal on Wednesday. 6 Jets of 23 squadrons involved in the farewell ceremony saluted the water canon at the time of landing in which Priya Sharma played an important role. Please tell that the seventh female fighter pilot of the country is the pilot.

Officers made in Indian Air Force inspired by father
Squadron leader Priya Sharma completed her graduation from Air Force Academy, Dundigal. He received his graduation certificate from the then Army Chief Bipin Rawat. She then officially joined the Indian Air Force as the flying officer. Priya Sharma hails from Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan. Inspired by her father, she became an officer in the Indian Air Force. She studied engineering and was the only female fighter pilot of 2018 batch. He was initially posted at Hakimpet Air Force Station in Hyderabad. With the retirement of MiG-21, a historic chapter of the Indian Air Force has ended, and squadron leader Priya Sharma was recorded in history as a female pilot involved in the last flight of this jet.
