Fighting continues in the Middle East for 3 days. China has appealed for immediate ceasefire and talks. Israel-US attacks on Iran spark conflict, killing 1 Chinese citizen. Iran has vowed to retaliate.
Today is the third day of fighting in the Middle East. Meanwhile, China expressed its views on this matter for the first time on Monday. China has said that both sides should immediately establish ceasefire and resolve the matter through dialogue. Let us tell you that Israel and America are continuously attacking Iran and Lebanon, due to which this fight is spreading to the neighboring countries also.
“The most important task right now is to immediately stop military actions and prevent this conflict from spreading further,” Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said at a press conference. He stressed that “this issue should be resolved only through dialogue.”
Mao Ning also told that a Chinese citizen has died in this ongoing conflict in Tehran. Let us tell you that Israel and America have carried out several attacks in Tehran, in which the supreme leader of Iran was also killed.
Mao further said, “The Foreign Ministry has instructed the Chinese Embassy in Iran to provide full assistance to the victim and his family.” However, he did not provide further details about the victim or the incident.
China had issued a warning to its citizens only last week. In view of the ‘current security situation’, it was advised not to travel to Iran for the time being. As of Monday, more than 3,000 Chinese citizens have left Iran.
On the other hand, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have vowed that they will conduct the ‘most terrifying’ operation in history against Israel and American bases in the Gulf countries. Gulf countries are already paying a heavy price due to these attacks. According to AFP journalists, explosions were also heard in Doha, Dubai and Manama over the weekend.
