has launched the G63 Offroad PRO in India at a price tag of INR 3.80 crore. The new variant gives the iconic G-Class a more adventure-focused character, blending AMG performance with specialised hardware designed for tough off-road conditions.
The G63 Offroad PRO features AMG Active Ride Control suspension and the AMG Traction PRO and AMG Active Balance Control driving modes, which are specifically adapted for off-road use. They are designed to increase wheel articulation, traction and stability in rough terrain.
The SUV also features a Professional roof rack and unique AMG 20-inch 5-twin-spoke wheels in a matte-black finish, giving it a rugged, ready-for-expedition look.

The launch of the ‘Offroad PRO’ in limited numbers underline Mercedes-Benz’s continued focus on enriching the topend segment, reiterating the brand’s unmatched desirability in the entire automotive industry. We are confident the AMG G 63 aficionados will be excited with the latest offering in the G63 stable,” Santosh Iyer, Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India said.
Power source is provided through a 4.0-litre twin turbocharged V8 engine that provides a power output of 585bhp along with torque of 850Nm. This powertrain comprises a nine-speed automatic transmission and Mercedes-Benz’s 4MATIC all-wheel drive system with controls specially designed for Offroad PRO.
The interior has a new off-road-oriented cockpit design, with controls for all off-road functions arranged on the dashboard for easy reach while driving. The design of G-Class is carried forward, but with AMG components such as wider wheel arches, AMG bumper, and a sportier front end design.
The AMG G63 Offroad PRO model will be available in limited numbers in the Indian market.
