New Delhi: India will take on Pakistan in the Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 at the R. Premadasa Stadium on Sunday, February 15. But, cricket fans will get to watch not just one but two matches between the arch-rivals on Sunday.
The Men in Blue have won their opening two matches of the tournament, defeating the USA and Namibia, while Pakistan also registered victories in their first two games of the T20 World Cup. After the victory against Namibia in Delhi, India have climbed to the top of the Group A points table with four points, displacing Pakistan on the basis of a superior Net Run Rate.
The group-stage clash will also be crucial for both teams, following the off-field controversy with Pakistan earlier deciding to boycott the match, but then eventually agreeing to play after a meeting with the ICC and BCB in Lahore.
Double dose of India-Pakistan rivalry on Sunday
On the same day, India A will also face Pakistan in the Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars 2026 at the Terdthai Cricket Ground in Bangkok. The Women’s match will begin at 12:30 PM (IST), while the T20 World Cup 2026 clash between the arch-rivals will be played at 7 PM.
