New Delhi: As the holy month of Shravan is about to start, preparations are on in full swing for Kanwar Yatra. Talking to TV9 Bharatvarsh Delhi Cabinet Minister Kapil Mishra informed about the measures being taken to facilitate the Kanwar Yatra and made the journey easy for the devotees.
He said that all kinds of legal and illegal meat shops will remain closed during the Kanwar Yatra. No meat shop will be open on the routes where from where Kawar yatris will pass. He added that the Delhi Government and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) will soon issue official guidelines in this regard.
Mishra added that meat and liquor shops will remain closed within 500 meters on the route of the Kanwar Yatra.
