Pakistani terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed has established the first women’s brigade. Its name is Jamaat ul Mominat. Masood Azhar’s sister Sadia Azhar will command it. Recruitment of women terrorists has started in this.
Jaish-e-Mohammed women unit: Operation Sindoor, launched by India on 7 May 2025, caused huge losses to Pakistani terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed. Markaz Subhanallah, the headquarters of Jaish in Bahawalpur, Pakistan, was destroyed by the Indian Air Force air strike. After this, Jaish chief Maulana Masood Azhar has made a new move. She has formed the first unit of women terrorists, Jamaat ul Mominat. The recruitment of women terrorists for this unit started from October 8.
Saadia Azhar will take charge of the women’s wing of Jaish-e-Mohammed
According to India Today report, Masood Azhar’s sister Sadia Azhar will command the women’s wing of Jaish-e-Mohammed. Her husband Yusuf Azhar was among the family members of Masood Azhar who were killed in the strikes carried out under Operation Sindoor on May 7.
Jaish-e-Mohammed has started recruiting the wives of its members as well as poor women studying in its centers in Bahawalpur, Karachi, Muzaffarabad, Kotli, Haripur and Mansehra.
Jaish-e-Mohammed’s women’s unit will conduct psychological warfare
The job of the women’s unit of Jaish-e-Mohammed is to conduct psychological warfare. These women will look after the work of propaganda and recruitment at the grassroots level. The activities of Jamaat-ul-Mominat are spreading through social media, WhatsApp groups and the network of some madrassas. It has become active through online network in Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh and some areas of South India.
Jaish-e-Mohammed changed strategy after Operation Sindoor
Let us tell you that Jaish-e-Mohammed has traditionally banned women from participating in armed jihad or war operations. After Operation Sindoor he changed his strategy. Masood Azhar and his brother Talha al-Saif together approved the decision to include women in the operational structure of Jaish-e-Mohammed. After this the Special Women’s Brigade was established.
