Maruti Car Prices Hiked By Up To Rs 30k – Baleno, Victoris, Fronx, Brezza, Swift, Dzire

Exact price hike varies depending on the variant, which in August is in the range of Rs 2,500 to Rs 30,000

After the June price hike, Maruti Suzuki has increased prices of its Arena and Nexa cars in August 2026. Similar to earlier price hikes, this time too the reason is likely to be an increase in input costs. While the carmaker has consistently made efforts to reduce costs, some portion of the increased cost eventually has to be passed on to buyers.

Maruti Arena cars price hike – August 2026

Price increase for Maruti Arena cars is relatively less in comparison to Nexa cars. For entry-level cars like Alto K10, S-Presso, Celerio and WagonR, the price hike is just up to Rs 2,500. Maruti Suzuki Carry mini truck also has the same price hike. Similarly, Swift has gotten costlier by up to Rs 5,000. Dzire and Tour S will now be priced higher in the range of Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,000.

Prices of Maruti’s bestselling MPV Ertiga have been increased in the range of Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,500. For the bestselling Brezza, the price hike is relatively lower at up to Rs 5,000. Among Maruti Arena cars, the highest price hike is for Victoris SUV. Depending on the variant, prices have been increased by up to Rs 10,000. Victoris is currently the 3rd bestselling model in the 4.2m – 4.5m SUV segment. It is a derivative of the Grand Vitara and sold via Arena outlets, making it accessible to a wider market nationwide.

Maruti Nexa cars price hike – August 2026

Baleno sees the highest price hike among Nexa cars. Prices of Baleno have been increased by up to Rs 30,000. Maruti is working on the  , which will launch on 5th September 2026. Another popular Nexa car is Fronx, which will now cost up to Rs 7,500 more.

Maruti Fronx has also emerged as a popular choice across global markets. In CY Q2 2026, Fronx was the most exported car from India, with a market share of close to 11%. Prices of Grand Vitara see a modest price hike of up to Rs 5,000. This is the lowest price hike among Nexa cars. Prices of XL6 have been increased in the range of Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,500.

Jimny will now cost up to Rs 15,000 more. Prices of eVitara have been increased by up to Rs 20,000. This is the second highest price hike among Nexa cars. Prices of Maruti Invicto have been increased by up to Rs 10,000.
