After the incident, the woman’s husband lodged a complaint at the Sadar police station, stating that his wife had taken a cash of Rs 1 lakh and jewelery worth about Rs 1.5 lakh.

The victim husband told the police that his brother-in-law is a resident of a village in Mohaniya police station area, who seduced his wife. After getting information about the woman absconding, the family and relatives started searching for her. Despite interrogation of the villagers, no clue of the woman’s hideout was found. But the police received information from secret sources and recovered the woman and her brother -in -law on 22 September. At present, the police is taking further legal action in the case.
