According to the Vedic calendar, the Chaturdashi date of Krishna Paksha of Margashirsha month is starting on 18th November at 07:12 am. At the same time, this date will end at 09:43 am on 19th November. Nisha period is considered best for worshiping God on Monthly Shivaratri, hence Monthly Shivaratri will be celebrated on 18th November.
Monthly Shivratri Puja Auspicious time (Masik Shivratri 2025 Puja Subh Muhuat)
On the day of Monthly Shivratri, the auspicious time of puja will start at 11.42 pm. This auspicious time of puja will end at 12.36 pm.
Monthly Shivratri Puja Vidhi
- Wake up early in the morning on the day of monthly Shivratri.
- Then take bath and wear clean clothes. After this, clean the temple of the house.
- Then install the idol or picture of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati.
- After this, anoint the Shivling with water and milk.
- Then offer Belpatra, Bhang, Dhatura, Akshat, flowers and sandalwood to Lord Shiva.
- After this, recite Shiv Chalisa and chant Mahamrityunjaya Mantra.
- Then perform aarti of Lord Shiva and pray for fulfillment of your wishes.
