Marco Bezzecchi returns to the circuit of fond memories, boosted by good sensations in testing in Jerez

Marco Bezzecchi, Italian rider for Aprilia Racing, shows great enthusiasm for the French Grand Prix, the sixth round of the MotoGP World Championship.

After a complicated weekend in Jerez, the Italian arrives at Le Mans motivated by the encouraging results obtained in recent tests and by positive memories of the French circuit.

When asked about his expectations for the race, the athlete did not hide his satisfaction. ‘I’m happy to be going to Le Mans. I really want to get back in the saddle after the Jerez tests, which were positive,’ revealed Bezzecchi, showing his optimism for the upcoming race at the historic Bugatti Circuit.

The Aprilia Racing Italian has a special relationship with the French track, where he achieved his first victory in the premier class. ‘I really like this track, and I’ve also won here in the past,’ recalled the rider, referring to the triumph he achieved in 2023 in MotoGP, in addition to third places in the Moto2 category in 2020 and 2021.

The confidence of #72 is evident in his stance towards the challenge that awaits him on a circuit known for its combination of slow and fast corners. ‘We are highly motivated and ready to give one hundred percent,’ stated Bezzecchi, determined to overcome the difficulties encountered in the previous GP and to make the most of the potential demonstrated in recent tests.

Aprilia Racing arrives in France with high expectations after third place in the 2024 sprint race, and Bezzecchi will have Lorenzo Savadori as his teammate, replacing Jorge Martín, who is recovering from an injury suffered during the race in Qatar.
