In religious scriptures it is said to take special care of food on Tuesday. Do not consume meat, alcohol and other tamasic things on this day.

If you keep fast on Tuesday, do not consume salt. It is believed that this destroys the results of the fast. Do not cut hair and nails on this day.

Do not lend money to any person on this day. It is believed that loan or credit given on Tuesday is not returned. Also avoid traveling towards North and West on Tuesday.
