Mana Singh Parmar, who has featured in television shows such as Swami Ramdev – Ek Sangharsh, Jag Janani Maa Vaishno Devi, and Sherdil Shergill, is presently seen in Zee TV’s drama Dilo Ki Ram Leela, produced by Cockrow and Shaika Entertainment. Playing the role of Omveer, a house help employed in the palatial residence of Virendra Sehgal (played by Eijaz Khan), Parmar shares a vibrant screen space with lead actor Mishkat Varma, who plays Ram. Reflecting on their dynamic, Mana highlights how their off-screen camaraderie translates into effortless on-screen chemistry.
Sharing a close connection on set, Mana credits lead actor Mishkat Varma for creating an inviting atmosphere that makes every scene enjoyable.
“Mishkat bhai radiates such a positive aura on set. I am deeply impressed by his humble behaviour and how warmly he coordinates with every actor around him. Since Omveer is very close to Ram and constantly seeks his help, I end up sharing a lot of scenes with him. Working alongside Mishkat Bhai has been an absolute joy—his energy makes every moment on set easy and fun.”
Playing Omveer brings a blend of lightheartedness and emotional layers to the show’s narrative. “Playing Omveer is both challenging and incredibly fun. He is comic and forgetful, yet everyone in the family knows that deep down he is entirely innocent and helpful. On top of that, he has a sweet, one-sided love track with Radha. Bringing out these distinct shades—balancing his comedic lapses with his pure intentions—has been a rewarding experience for me as an actor.”
Working in a grand setup alongside seasoned performers Eijaz Khan and Manasi Salvi has offered Mana an invaluable learning ground on set.
“Sharing the frame with powerhouses like Eijaz Khan and Manasi Salvi feels like attending an acting workshop every single day of shooting. Observing their craft, their discipline, and how they approach every scene is an incredible masterclass. I feel truly grateful to be working alongside such experienced actors and taking in as much as I can from them.”
Marking another significant milestone in his career graph, Dilo Ki Ram Leela serves as a fresh step forward for the talented actor. “This is my fourth major show, and every role I’ve taken up so far has shaped me as an actor. Playing Omveer gives me a fresh canvas to explore comedy and everyday emotion in a whole new light. I am truly thankful for all the love and support coming my way.”
