Quepem: A 45-year-old man was found dead in a decomposed state inside a room at his residence in Borimol, Sirvoi, in Quepem taluka.
According to police, the information was received from Noel Rodrigues, a native of Bombay, Maharashtra, who reported that the body of his brother, Titus Maurice Rodrigues (45), was found lying in a room in a decomposed condition.
Police visited the house at Borimol, Sirvoi, and conducted a scene of unnatural death occurrence panchanama.
During inquiry, the deceased’s brother informed police that Titus Rodrigues was living alone in the house and was a habitual alcoholic.
The body has been preserved at the South Goa District Hospital (SGDH), Margao, for further medico-legal formalities.
Further inquiry is being conducted by LPSI Joycee Carvalho of Quepem Police Station.
