Mammootty has described OM as a memorable film, revealing interesting details about his return to Tamil cinema after seven years.
Speaking at the audio launch, the veteran actor said he wanted to do a Tamil film after Peranbu and approached several people, but nobody responded positively.
The actor revealed that OM has multiple storylines involving ordinary people living in the hills, Sai Pallavi’s character and Dhanush’s character. Although the shoot was initially planned for 45 days, it continued for six months, with extensive night schedules.
Mammootty made an entertaining speech but said the film itself would be serious and emotionally impactful. Rajkumar Periasamy of Amaran fame directs the film.
