Public comments, missed family events, and visible distance had convinced many fans that reconciliation might never happen. Yet a recent episode of Laughter Chefs offered a very different picture.
Sunita Ahuja visits Laughter Chefs starring Krushna and Kashmera
In the latest episode, Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja appeared as a guest. Over the years, while Govinda occasionally met his nephew Krushna or niece Aarti Singh, Sunita had maintained a strict distance. In fact, although Govinda and his son Yashvardhan attended Aarti Singh’s wedding a few years ago, Sunita was absent, suggesting that the bitterness had not completely faded.
However, the mood on the Laughter Chefs stage was very different. As soon as Sunita arrived, she hugged Krushna Abhishek and Kashmera Shah, setting aside past differences. It was an emotional moment for Krushna and his sister Aarti. According to those present on the set, there was plenty of laughter and friendly banter, with Sunita stealing the show in her trademark style. While posing for photos with paparazzi, Kashmera even held Sunita’s hand and joked that their “Dhurandhar” had returned.

Sunita Ahuja’ feud with Krushna Abhishek explained
The dispute reportedly began around 2016. According to reports, a tweet by Krushna’s wife, Kashmera Shah, referring to “people who dance for money” was seen by Sunita as a personal attack on Govinda. Since then, communication between the families had largely stopped. In 2021, Sunita Ahuja told Hindustan Times that she did not want to “see his face ever again” after Krushna Abhishek skipped an episode of The Kapil Sharma Show featuring Govinda and his family.
When photographers asked where Govinda was while Krushna and Kashmera posed with Sunita, Kashmera playfully told them to keep quiet. Krushna added that Govinda would join when their schedules matched. Interestingly, Sunita’s appearance on Laughter Chefs was also a surprise for Krushna and Kashmera.
