Make these 3 high protein soups in winter, learn the easy recipe

Consuming hot things is very beneficial in the winter season. If you want something healthy, you can also drink soup. It is also beneficial for health in many ways. Green leafy and many other vegetables are available in winter. Soup is also made from these and consumed in place of vegetables. This provides many nutrients and energy to our body. This helps in improving immunity. Also, it is good to drink hot soup in cold weather.

Drinking soup regularly helps in reducing weight and improving digestion. With this, problems like gas, indigestion and constipation can be prevented. If you are on a high protein diet, then you can make these protein-rich soups a part of your diet.

Matar Paneer Creamy Soup

Material – 2 cups green peas, 150 grams chopped paneer, 1 small onion, 3 to 4 garlic cloves, 1 teaspoon whole cumin, 2 green cardamoms, 1½ inches cinnamon, 8 to 10 black peppercorns, 1 bay leaf, 3 cups water or vegetable stock 2 teaspoons olive oil, salt to taste, fresh mint leaves and 2 teaspoons lemon juice

Recipe – Heat a spoonful of olive oil on low flame. Add cumin, cardamom, cinnamon, black pepper and bay leaves in it. Fry for 30 to 40 seconds until fragrant. Now add onion and garlic and fry for 2 minutes, then add peas and stock. Remove whole spices for mild taste. Add cottage cheese in it, mix it till it becomes soft and creamy. Heat gently for 1 minute. Now add mint, lemon juice and 1 teaspoon olive oil. Now serve it.

Lentil Moringa Broth

Ingredients – ½ cup red lentils, 2 tomatoes chopped, 1 to 1½ cups moringa leaves, 1 tsp cumin, 1 bay leaf, cinnamon, 2 cloves, 6 to 8 black peppers, 1 tsp olive oil, lemon juice and salt as per taste

Method of preparation – To make this, first of all heat 1 spoon of olive oil in a pan. Now add cumin, bay leaves, cinnamon, cloves and black pepper in it. Fry it for 30 to 45 seconds. Add tomato, turmeric and salt in it, mix and cook till it becomes jammy. After this, add masoor dal and water and pressure cook it until it becomes completely soft. You can also grind it and make a soft paste. Add moringa leaves in it and cook on low flame for 2 to 3 minutes. Add lemon juice and black pepper and serve it hot.

Black Chickpea Stew

Material – 2 cups boiled black gram, 4 cups vegetable broth or water, 1 small chopped onion, 1 tomato, 1 bay leaf, 2 garlic cloves, 1 cup chopped carrot, chopped brinjal, cabbage, 1 cup spinach, 1 cup chopped capsicum, 1 teaspoon black pepper powder, salt as per taste, coriander or basil leaves.

Recipe – Put oil in a vessel. After it gets hot, add garlic, onion, bay leaves and fry for 2-3 minutes. Add chopped tomatoes in it. After this add all the vegetables and fry for about 5 minutes. Now add 3 cups vegetable broth or water. Close the lid and cook for about 5 to 10 minutes. Open the lid, add boiled black gram, salt and pepper and let it boil for some time. After this, add coriander leaves or basil leaves on top and serve.
