Materials required for masala gram dal
1 cup gram lentils, 2 tablespoons mustard oil, 2 tablespoons ghee, 4 green chillies, 4 to 5 garlic, 1 teaspoon cumin, 2 onion, 2 tomatoes, 1 teaspoon turmeric powder, 2 teaspoons salt, 1 teaspoon red chili powder, 1 teaspoon red chili powder, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1/2 small spoon powder, 5 to 6 green pepper, 3 to 6 lump, Red mirch, 1/2 teaspoon garam masala, coriander leaves and water. You can use all these ingredients according to your need.

Recipe
To make it, first of all, wash the gram dal with water. You can also soak for about two hours. Now put water in a cooker and put gram dal, water salt, and turmeric powder and close it. Apply 2 whistles in it. It can take 10 to 15 minutes. Now mix it well. Now place a pan on a gas. Add mustard oil and ghee to it. After heating lightly, add curry leaves, cloves, whole red mirch, asafetida and cumin. After this, add garlic, ginger, whole green mirch and red chili powder. Fry it.
Now add finely chopped onion and fry for 4 to 5 minutes. After this, add finely chopped tomatoes and mix and cook. Now add salt, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and turmeric powder and mix it as per the need. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes. Now add lentils and mix it. Now add water and mix according to the need. Cook this, then add desi ghee and garam masala over it and mix and cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Now take finely chopped coriander leaves and mix it on top of the lentils. Take masala gram dal is ready.
