10 Minute Roti Samosa Recipe: Often there is leftover roti in homes, which people consider stale and throw it away. Ingredients

  • For samosa cover:
  • 4–5 leftover rotis
  • a little water (to seal)
  • 1 tbsp oil (for brushing)
  • For stuffing:
  • 2 boiled and mashed potatoes
  • 1 green chilli finely chopped
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp coriander powder
  • ½ tsp dry mango powder
  • ¼ tsp garam masala
  • salt as per taste
  • 1 tbsp green coriander
  • A little chaat masala (optional)

How to make Roti Samosa in 10 minutes

  • First of all, prepare the stuffing by mixing all the spices, green coriander and chaat masala in the boiled potatoes.
  • Now cut the roti from the middle and divide it into two parts. Fold the halves into a cone shape and seal the edges with water.
  • Now fill the prepared potato stuffing in this cone and seal the top part with water and close it.
  • After making all the samosas, preheat the air fryer to 180°C.
  • Lightly brush oil on the samosas and air fry for 8–10 minutes. Turn once in the middle so that both sides get equal crispiness.
  • Serve ready samosas hot with chutney or ketchup.

Cooking Tips

  • The rotis should not be too dry, otherwise they may break while folding.
  • Fill the stuffing only when it is completely cool, otherwise the samosa may burst.
  • If you wish, you can also add peas, paneer or sprouts to the stuffing.
  • If you don’t have an air fryer, you can also shallow fry it on a pan in less oil.
  • Lightly heat the rotis, this will make them roll easily.
