Mahindra XUV300 Facelift Coming Soon With New Features, Bold Styling, and Turbo Power – Here’s What to Expect

Mahindra XUV300: Mahindra is preparing to launch the much-anticipated XUV300 facelift in the Indian market. One of the most capable compact SUVs in its class, the XUV300 is set to receive a major design overhaul, a more tech-savvy interior, and performance improvements to compete with rivals like the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, and Maruti Brezza. The facelifted version is expected to hit showrooms in the coming weeks, offering a blend of safety, performance, and style in a compact package.

Bold New Exterior Inspired by Mahindra’s Global Design Language

The upcoming XUV300 facelift will showcase a completely revised front fascia featuring C-shaped LED DRLs, a wider grille, and sharper projector headlamps. The bumpers will be reprofiled to give the SUV a more muscular and aggressive look. The rear design is also expected to receive updates, including new LED tail lamps connected by a light bar, sportier alloy wheels, and a roof spoiler to enhance the SUV’s dynamic stance.

These design changes will bring the XUV300 more in line with Mahindra’s newer SUVs like the XUV700 and the upcoming BE range.

Modern Interior With Larger Screen and Premium Finishes

Inside the cabin, the XUV300 facelift is expected to offer a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a fully digital instrument cluster, and new soft-touch materials on the dashboard and door trims. The layout will be cleaner and more user-friendly, with ambient lighting and a new steering wheel inspired by the Mahindra XUV700.

Top variants will also offer a sunroof, push-button start, dual-zone climate control, and premium fabric or leatherette upholstery to elevate the overall comfort and experience.

Turbo-Petrol Performance With Enhanced Mileage

The facelifted XUV300 will continue to offer its powerful 1.2-litre mStallion turbo-petrol engine, which delivers best-in-class torque and peppy performance. It is expected to come with a choice of 6-speed manual and automatic gearboxes. A 1.5-litre diesel engine will also remain available for those looking for better mileage and highway performance. Mahindra is likely to tune both engines for improved fuel efficiency in the 2025 model.

Safety Remains a Strong Suit for the XUV300

Mahindra XUV300 has already received a 5-star Global NCAP safety rating, and the facelifted version is expected to build on that with additional safety features. This may include six airbags as standard, electronic stability control, a 360-degree camera, tyre pressure monitoring system, and improved crash structure. These additions make it one of the safest SUVs in its price bracket.

Expected Price and Launch Timeline

The facelifted Mahindra XUV300 is expected to launch in July or August 2025, with an estimated starting price of ₹9 lakh (ex-showroom). The top variants with all features and automatic transmission may go up to ₹14 lakh. Mahindra dealerships have already begun teasing the update, and official bookings are likely to open soon.
