New Delhi: Mahindra has launched a new special version of its electric SUV, the XEV 9e. It is called the Cineluxe edition and is based on the top-spec Pack Three variant. This new variant precisely focuses on overall looks, comfort and in-cabin experience of the car rather than just performance figures.
The company has tried to give the SUV a more premium feel with new colours, better interior materials and more tech features. It continues to use the same battery and driving range as the standard model, so the core performance remains unchanged.

The Cineluxe Edition comes in two new shades, Satin Black and Satin White. These finishes give the SUV a slightly different road presence compared to the regular version. The overall design stays the same, but the new paint options and small detailing updates make it look more exclusive.
XEV 9e Cineluxe edition: Cabin and features

Inside, the cabin gets a mix of Chestnut Brown and Nocturne Black leatherette upholstery. The idea is to create a lounge-like feel. The dashboard has a coast-to-coast triple HD screen setup. The SUV also features a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system with Dolby Atmos support.
Other highlights include the Infinity Roof and an ambient lighting system with over 16 million colour options. It seems Mahindra is clearly pushing the “cinema-like” experience inside the car, especially with the large screens and premium audio.

The Cineluxe Edition also carries forward features from the Pack Three variant. These include the StraightAhead VisionX AR heads-up display, EyeDentity driver and occupant monitoring system, HandsFree Park assist and the Secure360 safety suite. It also gets Camp, Keep and PawPal HVAC modes, Custom Drive Modes, a Digital Key, Secure360 Pro and personalised user profiles.
It feels this version is clearly aimed at buyers who value in-cabin tech and comfort as much as range and power.
XEV 9e Cineluxe edition: Battery and range
The SUV is powered by a 79 kWh battery pack. Mahindra claims a real-world range of over 500 km. So even though this is a more luxury-focused edition, it does not compromise on driving range.
XEV 9e Cineluxe edition: Price and bookings
The Mahindra XEV 9e Cineluxe Edition is priced at Rs 29.35 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings will start from 2 March 2026, and deliveries are scheduled to begin from 10 March 2026 in India.
