Mahindra has released a new teaser for its upcoming Scorpio N-based pickup truck, confirming a global debut on August 14.

Mahindra has confirmed its Scorpio N-based pickup truck will make its global debut on August 14, marking the first official confirmation of the long-awaited lifestyle pickup. The model is the production version of the Global Pik Up concept, first showcased in South Africa in 2023. The pickup will be unveiled alongside the BE 6 Sporteq as part of Mahindra’s Independence Day showcase.
New styling with LED lighting
The exterior gets a fresh design compared to the standard Scorpio N, featuring L-shaped LED daytime running lights, slim LED headlamps, and vertically stacked fog lamps on the bumper. At the rear, the pickup gets C-shaped LED tail lamps, bold Mahindra lettering across the tailgate, and new U-shaped alloy wheel designs.
A panoramic sunroof, a first for Mahindra pickups
The teaser confirms a panoramic sunroof on the Scorpio N pickup, marking the first time this feature has appeared on a Mahindra pickup truck. The exterior also includes a front-mounted camera near the Twin Peaks logo, suggesting a 360-degree, or possibly a 540-degree, camera setup similar to the one offered on the 2026 Scorpio N.
A modern cabin with a large touchscreen
Inside, the pickup features a large, portrait-style central touchscreen, a fully digital instrument cluster, and a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel. The centre console includes a conventional gear selector and rotary controls, likely for drive modes and dual-zone climate control, blending physical and digital controls rather than relying entirely on screens.
Engine details still under wraps
Mahindra has not yet revealed technical specifications for the Scorpio N pickup, though it is expected to share powertrain options with the Scorpio N SUV, likely including a diesel engine and the 4XPLOR four-wheel-drive system. The pickup is expected to be priced from around Rs 25 lakh and will rival lifestyle trucks such as the Toyota Hilux and Isuzu V-Cross.
