Mahindra showed the Vision X Concept SUV on this Independence Day, a glimpse of the next generation XUV300.
On this Independence Day, Mahindra & Mahindra made a splash by introducing 4 new concepts SUV – Vision S, Vision X, Vision T, and Vision SXT. All concepts are designed on the new NU IQ modular platforms, which supports several powertrains including Ice, hybrid and electric. The Mahindra Vision X Concept SUV shows a glimpse of the next generation XUV300 and some designs are taken from XUV700. The company has confirmed that by 2027, SUVs based on NU IQ platform will start coming. The next generation is expected to arrive mid -2028 of XUV300 or in early 2029. External design
It is expected that the next generation Mahindra XUV300, prepared for production, will retain most design elements of Vision X Concept. The concept SUV looks like sporty and crossover, with high ground clearance. At the front, it has a seled-off grille, coupe-like windshield, separate bonnet, slim lighting on the front bumper, and XUV700 inspired fog lamps with twin pix logo. Side profiles have low-profile tires aero-optimized dual-tone alloy wheels, square wheel arch, back to back black cladding, flush-fitting door handle, bold creases and silver side steps on doors.
Interior and features
The Mahindra Vision X has a dual-screen setup that works as both the infotainment system and the instrument cluster. It has a black finish dashboard, two-spoke steering wheel, cup holder and storage space with big center console, and separate centers for further passengers. The next generation Mahindra XUV300 is expected to have a similar interior layout.
Poetrain information
Mahindra has not yet given information about the powertrain of the Vision X Concept. But, since it is based on the NU IQ platform that supports many powertrains, it is expected that the next generation XUV300 XUV300 will come with petrol, hybrid and electric engine options.
