Mahindra’s GST reduction on farm equipment
Commenting on the performance, Veejay Nakra, President of Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Business, said: ” This comes on the back of a strong growth of 27 per cent for the festive period of September & October 2025. There is positive sentiment among farmers with record production this kharif season & an increase in rabi sowing acreage.”
He added that the government’s reduction of GST rates, along with a higher Minimum Support Price (MSP), is improving cash flow for farmers. According to him, this is helping the demand for tractors and farm equipment.
