Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq Interior Spied – Triple Screen, Partition Removed

is set to launch or reveal the BE 6 Sporteq electric SUV on 15th of August, 2026. This is not an all-new SUV, but is an update to the current BE 6’s interiors. Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq has been teased officially and it will come with a new set of features that buyers in the segment seem to be asking for.

Ahead of launch, the interiors of upcoming Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq have been leaked and they show us what the changes are going to look like. The main highlight is the triple screen display setup, which could be exclusive to Sporteq version and not trickle down to standard BE 6.

Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq Interior Leaked

The first thing to see in the leaked pictures of   interior is the colour theme. Same was hinted in Mahindra’s teaser as well. Overall dashboard and door trims take a Black shade, complimented by a Tan colour. We can see the steering wheel retained and it gets Tan contrast element as well.

Triple screen dashboard is the highlight of this update and front co-driver gets their own screen now. All three screens are housed in the same panoramic panel and may be 12.3-inch in size each. Similar setup has been seen in the other two Mahindra Electric Origin SUVs (XE 9e and XEV 9S) and then the recent XUV 7XO.

Mahindra BE 6’s primary rival, the Tata Sierra EV also comes with a triple screen layout, which is what the buyers in this segment and price bracket seem to fancy these days. With this third screen, co-driver or front passenger can indulge in video calls, play games, stream video and other aspects. We hope Mahindra offers the privacy filter for this screen to not distract driver.

Partition Removed

Another big change we can see in the leaked spy shot is that Mahindra has removed the physical partition which separated driver and co-driver. This split is what gave   a cockpit-like interior, making it stand out in the crowd. Few (including me) liked the split, but many did not.

It is not confirmed whether the partition is only removed in the BE 6 Sporteq or all BE 6 variations. Now that the partition (also called halo loop) is removed, a second cup holder in the centre console has emerged. Other centre console attributes like the futuristic shifter, key slot, start button and infotainment dial are retained.

Mechanically (or electrically, in this case), Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq is expected to offer the same battery and motor configs as standard BE 6. It could offer both 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery options powering a single rear motor, rated at 286 bhp and 380 Nm with a claimed range of up to 682 km on a single charge.
