More than 33 thousand scouts-guides from India and abroad will participate in the 19th National Jamboree organized in Lucknow after 61 years. With Kashi Ghat model, cultural presentations, innovation hub and leadership training, the event will be a wonderful celebration of ‘Unity in Diversity’.
When the steps of youth on the soil of a city start determining the direction of the future and when the echo of service, discipline and leadership is heard in its air, then that event becomes not just an event, but the path of national change. Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, is going to create history by hosting the ‘Maha Kumbh’ of Bharat Scouts and Guides after 61 years. The 19th National Jamboree will be organized from 23rd to 29th November under the hosting of Yogi Government, in which a wonderful confluence of youth leadership from India and abroad will be seen.
Diamond Jubilee Jamboree: Global celebration of 33 thousand participants
Organized on the theme “Strong Youth Developed India”, this historic Jamboree will be attended by around 30,000 Scout-Guides, Unit Leaders and 1500 foreign delegates from across the country. A total of over 33,000 participants are going to make the event a vibrant global platform. The event is not only a celebration of the Scouting tradition but will also be a comprehensive platform to train the youth in service, innovation, discipline and leadership skills.

Amazing experience of Ghats of Kashi: Confluence of spirituality and culture
On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Jamboree site is being given the shape of “Mini India”. Its biggest attraction will be the replica of the ghats of Kashi, where the presentation of the world famous Ganga Aarti throughout the seven days will introduce the audience to the Indian spiritual heritage. This scene will become a unique medium to showcase the cultural power of India at the international level.
Celebrating diversity of taste and art
According to Varanasi Contingent leader Ashu Kumar Verma, the food plaza to be set up in the Jamboree will be a colorful confluence of India’s food culture. Foreign delegates will get:
- Banarasi Paan
- Banarasi Chaat
- puri-kachori
- Jalebi
Also, handicrafts made from “waste material” and clay artefacts will showcase the rich heritage of Indian handicrafts in a vibrant manner.
Future of Innovation and Tech: Exclusive IT and AI Hub
Keeping in view the role of youth in building modern India, IT and AI Hub is being established at the Jamboree site. It will contain:
- digital learning session
- robotics workshop
- science expo
- Innovation and Leadership Training
The objective is to connect young scouts with new technology and make them capable leaders of the future.
‘Service is the supreme religion’: Event will inspire youth power
This National Jamboree, being organized in Uttar Pradesh after 61 years, will strengthen the spirit of national service, discipline, character building and global brotherhood in the minds of the youth. This event will not only give new heights to the identity of Lucknow, but will also send a strong message about the decisive role of youth in the dream of a developed India.
