“Mahagathbandhan will pay a big price for this. NDA was progressing strongly, and now Mahagathbandhan has given us a walkover on many seats that appeared to be challenging,” Chirag Paswan stated.

RJD announced a list of 143 candidates for the Bihar elections in 2025. Interestingly, RJD named four candidates in the seat where Congress had already announced its candidates earlier.

For the Grand Alliance, the seats shared stand at RJD announced 143, Congress named 55, CPIML confirmed 20, and CPI, CPM, and VIP named 6, 4, and 15, respectively.

However, the Congress has already announced a list of 60 candidates, despite their share standing at 55. Currently, the Grand Alliance haven’t come to the same page till now, as there are several arguments between parties on several seats, leading to disagreements within the alliance.

A total of 243 seats will be in the spotlight in the upcoming Bihar elections. The dates are also announced for the election, as the Bihar Assembly will be held in two phases, on November 6 and 11.
